Bet Smart™ is technology company that has been providing products and services to the iGaming industry since 2010. We work with industry-leading brands that include sportsbook operators, data vendors, and software providers.
We have 3 parts to our company:
- Services: mobile, web, and social app development, including corresponding product strategy consulting. Think of us as a full-service team of guns-for-hire to the iGaming industry.
- Products: in addition to our services business, we’re actively developing our own portfolio of betting-ready mobile apps. Our strategy is to partner with sportsbook operators to offer these apps to punters in regulated markets. We intend to add new titles to our portfolio regularly over time.
- Labs: we like to experiment with new ideas when time permits. In Bet Smart’s short history, we developed a few apps and launched them as minimally viable products. We provide support to users of the products developed in the lab, but we’re not actively iterating/improving on the products (for now…).
We’re based in Victoria, BC, Canada. It’s 8 hours behind London, but we’re used to being up early to talk with our customers, partners, and prospects!
While Victoria is hardly a hub for the iGaming industry, it is part of the larger technology hub on the west coast of North America. We’re active in tech and entrepreneurial communities, whether it’s Jesse founding & leading the Victoria Startups meetup group, Judd founding a worldwide Top 5 Linux distribution, or Grant representing Bet Smart with Entrepreneurs’ Organization.
This allows us to often see technology trends emerge before they become widely acknowledged by the iGaming industry at-large.
For our services business, it means we can be your eyes and ears out there on the street, helping to ensure you’re skating to where the puck is actually going.
For our product portfolio, it means we’re constantly absorbing new information that helps keep our products innovative.
